Since I was 13 I have wanted a different first car (in this order):

I'm currently 16 and I ended up buying a 1994 Celica ST Hatchback. And I'm very very happy with it. I just couldn't make up my mind due to availability, insurance, mean parents, etc.

I knew though since I wanted a car it'd be a celica because of the viper's price.... i dont know if I'm the only one like this, but I think it's cool. I always wanted one, and I got one. This may sound even weirder, but I'm NOT selling my car no matter what. I plan on keeping it till I die. Kinda weird huh?

I've come quite a ways from what I first wanted.

A long time ago I used to want a Toyota T100, or Tundra(or 4x4 Tacoma). My dad had a T100 and I just loved it and the whole superiority complex that comes with trucks. >>

But then I got converted. I got to drive a Civic for a few months, and I fell in love with it. My brother still wants a truck, but after that, I was stuck on the whole sporty coupe feel. So I looked for a Civic for a while, cause that was the only sporty car I'd ever driven, but lucky for me, I didn't have the money at the time.(thank God I didn't acutally get a Civic) >>

But since I was checking out Honda's I looked at some Acura's, and got hooked on the double headlight look. So I really wanted an Integra for a while.

Then one day I saw a 6th gen. Celica, and was like "damn, what is that!?" I went home, immidetally found out what they were and of course fell it love with them.

So now I've been wanting a Celica ever since. I sucks cause I'm so picky about what I want it's hard to find one. Not to mention there's not that may in the NorthWest anyway. Right now I'm driving around a 3000GT(sadly, not VR-4) that I picked up for super cheap. But I'm trying to sell it. All my friends think I'm crazy for trying to sell my 3000GT in order to get a Celica, but what can I say, I got the 6gc virus... >>

I wanted a 3rd Gen Trans Am (82-92 models) and ended up getting an 84 SE Firebird. I knew what I wanted and got it.

im the same way, my celi is never leaving my ownership. i dont think my fiance likes that too much but ill always have it, and it will always be becoming more badass.

the first car i wanted was a fox body mustang, but that ended up being my 3rd car lol

I actually always wanted a 6g celica it took me a while but i got it

When I used to watch rally I've ALWAYS wanted a White 5th Gen or 6th Gen GT-FOUR.

When I used to watch Dale Earnhardt knocking people off his way, I've ALWAYS wanted a Black Monte Carlo.

When I used to watch V8 Supercar races, I've ALWAYS wanted a V8 Holden Commodore.

When I used to watch stadium truck races, I've ALWAYS wanted a Tacoma PreRunner.

When I used to read MiniTruckin' magazine, I've ALWAYS wanted a Tacoma S-Runner.

i knew i was geting a 6th gen when i was only like 8 or so in 1994 when my grandma bought it and told me i was getting it as my 1st car. iam now all most 17 and have had the car for a year.

I wanted this generation Camaro. Sadly, I got a Geo Storm, dad bought it with my money. Then I made that thing faster than my buddies IROC. But if I would have put that much money into a Camaro or Firebird, I would have beaten a lot more people.

I have ALWAYS wanted an older caddy, still do.

I remember cuting out pics of the older (59-70) cadillacs and taping them to my wall.
i remember finding a 67 limo in town. i called him up and asked what he wanted for it. wanted $8k. I told mom and dad they can each pay $4k and get it for me for my B-day. I think i was around 10 yrs old at that time.

im a toyota fan so the only cars i really wanted were a mr2 or a supra. of course, i couldnt afford either of those so i got my celi. and like consynx i never heard of a 6gc until i saw it. fell in love with it quick and only had 33k on it when i bought it! just wish it wasnt a damn auto >>.

my first car was a 300zx twin turbo that my dad bought from an auction for $8000 and I bought it from him, then I totalled it when i hydroplaned on I-95 :-( then I bought a caprice, sold it b/c it ate up gas 2 much, now I have my celica.

always wanted the 6gc celica first then keep it and work my way up to a supra targa top the last body style made here. i knew it was the car i was getting my brother was trying to convince me to look at other cars i said i want this one. i mean i went though looking at 3 different 6th gen before i found the right one but i got what i wanted. 1st one had 1200 dollars worth of stuff that needed to be fixed, 2nd on ethe one i really wanted was the celica stock blue the fiesta blue or whatever it was called but i took it to atlanta toyota and for their used car inspection they drive it and when test driving it the guy at the dealership didnt put the hood on all the way well the hood flew up and broke the window and the hood flew off and i was pissed only because thats the color i wanted. then i found my red one and it was been awesome even though it is a auto.now i ended up having two of them. one a coupe and the other which is my red one which is of coarse a hatch got to love the hatches

I aint gonna lie - i wanted a honda!

in all seriousness... i wanted a brand new '97 6th Gen Celica Convertible

2. 6th gen Celica (saw one when I was 13 and knew I wanted one)
3. 2004/05 Tiburon (love the body style, not too crazy about the rear though cuz it looks too much like a neon's. I hate neons.)

Don't feel bad, if it came with a B or H series engine, I use to want it. Oh, the good H and B's btw.

Celica gt 4, but was way to expensive and to much for the insurance.
So i bought a Celica st >>

The first car I seriously wanted was a 95-96 VW Jetta with a vr6. but I did want my grandma's 88 civic hd, witch I ended up with. it only had 36k miles on it and was garage kept.

The first car i wanted was either an S14(kuko style), S13 with a silvia conversion and 180sx tails, a supra, mr2 or a F-body camaro. But i ended up gettin a MKIII Supra. $500 off a friend..lasted me a month n a half but man could that thing go. 237xxxkm on it, and i got it dynoed for free at my work(canadian tire) and it ran 243 HP at the rear wheels after i did a bit of tweaking on it.

Wanted a 4Runner when I was 15.

Got a Tiburon - wrecked by a truck
Got a Celica at - wrecked by a truck
Got a del Sol - Sold
Got a Eclipse GS-T Spyder - Sold after I realized FWD is not as fun with power
