i need to know how many hours it took to do the 3sgte swap
who has done the 3sgte swap - 6G Celicas Forums
9 months, so that's like 6480 hours. If things went perfect, which means you didn't have to wait on parts, you don't break any bolts and so forth, the swap would take 2 days to put in and a day of problem solving. I won't go like that though
i would say that if you got the front clip and kinda had a basic knowledge of what you were doing. maybe like 2 days or more depending on if you were by yourself or if you have done a swap b4.
I'm doing the swap now its been about 30 hrs of work, and we just bolted the tranny onto the 3sgte. Still gotta get it in the car, bolt it up, connect it, and then do the ECU. So probably another 30 hrs.
Due to my hectic schedule those 30 hrs have been spread over 3 weeks.
