I was browsing ebay the other day, and I came accross this CD that claims to give directions on how to make your doors open like lamborghini doors (scissor doors) for $700 (obviously low-balling a tad). Has any one looked into pulling this off on their 6gc? Is it even possible? Ed.

before you guys go droppin a grand + on sisccor doors think about this.. all that is needed to do that conversion is a 200lbs psi gas shock and a new hinge that you can have custom fabbed at NE machine shop... totat cost??? ---> Maybe 100$ per door and thats if you get ripped off.
that conversion is VERY easy to do.. just use common sense....

Sense it is a easy thing and i know that everyone of us would be willing to pay 200 dollars for those doors then make a how- to on it.
I put a link on one of these topics that was kind of a how to... think the topic was called gullwing door conversion or something.... go to yahoo and type in "door conversions" and a buncha pages should come up.. just look through that stuff you should be able to figure it out. I would do a write up but not sure yet what I am gonna do with my doors.. thinkin scissor doors but in a year or 2 everyone is gonna have them - kinda thinkin about a reversed scissor door
