It really depends on your goals. These are the turbos I like if money is no object:
Streetable, 250-325 whp: GT28RS: $1100 for turbo only 300-425 whp: GT30R: $1300 for turbo only 375whp+ GT35R: $1400 for turbo only
These options obviously require some fabrication skills for the downpipe, oil return lines, etc.
If price is a consideration:
Streetable: CT27 (CT26 with modified turbine) from ATS racing. This is a rebuilt turbo but has 300+ whp capability under high boost. 275-375: ATS racing TDO6 kit. $2000 250-350: new 46 trim t3/t4 BOLT-ON from thespeedfactor.com. $1350. 350+: new 50 trim t3/t4 BOLT-ON from thespeedfactor.com. $1350
These last two are brand new and not proven yet but look promising.
I am going with a GT28RS.
Best regards,
Jay

QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.
just wanted to add something..... you cant do some of those turbo upgrades without upgrading to 550injectors and some type of piggy back. the stock fuel system is only good to about 260hp
so...if u just want a turbo upgrade and nothing else, the ct27 or ct20 would be a good choice
