goodbye 6th gen - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #26875 13 posts Started by RbrtNdrws
Well, after having a 6th gen for about 8 months, I finally sold it today for 4000. It was a lot of fun and looked really good, but I was tired of fixing things every month and putting way too much money into it. Thanks for everyone who helped me out when I had a question, I learned a lot about my car from this site.

I am now in search of a 7th Gen Gt-s 6 speed, I cant get over celicas >biggrin.gif>. I'll still try to stay around the forums and I will post when I get my new car..

Thanks again to everyone,

Robert A.
wow, and you had the amazing muffler...
im not sure how to feel about this. thanks for giving me the idea on changing my interior coloring to blue. like my gauges, buttons, etc. im glad you're sticking to the celis at least. come back when you get the 2zz and let us know how things are going. take care. later!

Fixing things? Celicas dont break every month lol (at least mine and my former one never did) >tongue.gif>

Take care and best of luck with finding a new car

mine breaks every month, no lie. it is a frequent at our local garage. I think I seriously got a lemon or something.

Was that supposed to be sarcastic?? Comments like that really piss me off. That hks muffler was not cheap and in my opinion it sounded way better than most that I've heard. it had a nice deep tone and a nice growl while accelerating.

Also, if you thought I meant spending money on upgrades that isnt what I meant. Most of the money I spent on this car was towards fixing it. I would have spent that money on actually upgrading such as a body kit of some sort, new springs, shocks, and new wheels.

Buy my Celica $2,500 -http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=76562&st=0
yeah thats my plan someday to have gt-s turbo
Maybe its just me but it seems that a lot and I mean A FxCKNG LOT of people who get Celicas end up buying another Celica when they get rid of one. I am proud to say that I have had 4 Celicas and am awaiting my 5th.

I thought about a 7th gen but I didn't want to skip a generation. >biggrin.gif>

I saw one around here about 3 months ago for $7500 out the door. It was a 2000 GT-S 6 speed with 81K on the clock. Loaded, with leather and... whatever else a loaded GT-S comes with... >confused.gif>

Best of luck on the search and, like they all said, post when you get it. :-D
