My antenna is broke and it won't come out. I hear the antenna motor when I turn the car off so I know that that's not the problem. I just want to take the antenna out. Does anyone know how to change antenna from the stock metal one to a regular rubber one (shorter and doesn't retract), kinda like the one 95STCELICA has? Also, which kind is the best to use. There is no How-to-article about this and I know other people have similar problems with their antennas. Thanx in advance for any advice and help.

You have to go inside the trunk and take out the entire motor etc... its a bitch goodluck.

yeah I had the same problem, but mine is stuck out. I'd be happy if it was stuck in, but it looks bad with it out all the time. I dunno how to fix it though
I just authorized CelicaSTX02's how-to article on installing an S2000 antenna on a sixth generation Celica if you guys want to go that route. It looks awesome on his car. >

I replaced my attenna, just rip out the old attenna and buy a new electric
one it will come with a new drain hose for it mounting screws and rubber fittings for the outside so you can adjust which direction it goes.
