I know in the past that many have tried to get a header for the 5sfe engine, but could it be possible that the 3sfe and the 5sfe engine blocks have the exact same stud pattern and design (hope im using the right wordage).............basically what im trying to say is would it be possible to fit a 3sfe header onto a 5sfe head. Has anyone ever tried this also?? After doing some research thats the real conclusion that i have come to.

I'd rather use a 3SGE manifold, since it's a 4-2-1 and has the same mating characteristics.
wait let me get this straight you put the head from a 3sge 2 liter engine on a 1.8 liter 7afe block?
no he has a 3sfe cause he has a curren
so he went 3sfe and swapped a ge head
and made a 3sge.....that is possible he never had a 7afe

3S-GE headers work on the 5S-FE but I don't know about the 3S-FE. The only thing different between the 5S and 3S-GE set ups are the lack of one or two bolts on the 5S set up. Mine doesn't leak though or anything.
I could give you close ups of the mounting flange if it would help. You could look on my profile for a pic of my header.

3SFE and 5SFE heads are about 95% the same...

i used a 3sfe header on my 5s.
only needed to round out one of the holes the stud goes thru.
