First off you need to work there 30 days before you get the discount, second.. the questions are easy, just think how the manager would want you to think.. Like are you friendly, yes or no.. its real easy, butttt if you fail you cant do it again for another month.

ive worked at several best buy stores, and it really depends on the management at the store. overall im pleased with best buy, the discount rocks. there is a lot of corperate bull****, and you dont make commission. which is good and bad. I end up spending a lot of money there, but i have a 42'' samsung HD dlp TV with JBL surround, and all the fixins. so hay, whatever.

the discount is not 5%
it is 5% over wholesale, quite a difference.
At my store, we don't have anykind of earpieces or anything lame like that. And the most laid back position you can have is probably mine, which is media product specialist.
basically, I walk around talking about cds and dvds.
edit: sorry, I thought you were talking about best buy's discount, and earpiece things. didn't read carefully, now I realize you're talking about office max
