i think the new consoles are ungly looking. i mean, the specs and stuff are nice, but the color and shape sucks.

halo 3 is gonna be released when ps3 releases to distract ps3 sells.
i got to give props to microsof for xbox tho. i bought it first had have to say i played some great games on it.
i later bought a ps2, because i wanted to play grand turismo and because i didnt want to miss out on anything that was ps2 only. i have to say that besides gt3 and gt4, i didnt really find anything that great about the console. played a lot more xbox games then anything.
i guess its the big difference in graphics that won me over. since the new consoles seem to have the same specs, maybe it will be better for everyone in this round.

I thought Socom 3 was for PS3, but its for PS2, and it has vehicles, and 32 players per online game, instead of the 16 that the original and 2 had. IDK if thats going to cause more lag, but I hope they fix the problems before hand.
IDK if should buy it but what ever i'll do it anyhow.

xbox isint using intel ... there are using a power PC based chip that is normaly found in the Mac. how ironic is that !?!

Wait how is Xbox desperate? Its a fledgling system and people had its doubts about it bu t now its got almost as big if not just as big a following as PS. I have had PS and PS2 and the reason for that is I didnt kno what Xbox could do and PS always had great games and large selection. Now, Xbox has some awesome games, just as many that appeal to me, a MUCH better online system (granted it costs a few bucks a year but its totally worth it, no lag, no BS that Sony provides.) I think Xbox will have more potential and I'm switching. Desperate I dont see, a threat to Sony I do.
And Nintendo is basically dead in the water. Poor gaming selection and games which are primarily Mario or an offspin dont appeal to the ones who can actually afford to buy games. If you do see a new Nintendo system, it'll probably be the last.

I believe nintendo's next generation system is gonna be released in like 2008 or something? I think they are doing the launch / intro party for it now. I think xbox scene had some pics of it. I believe they said that you'll be able to download all the original nes, snes, and n64 roms for free w/ it, but dont quote me on that. That'd be cool but you can allready do it w/ a modded xbox and then some....
