today i got the new Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith game for xbox... i have to tell ya its pretty fricken sweet!!! its like controlling the movie! ALSO i got Unreal Championship 2: The Liandri Conflict.. this is also a great game, nice melee combat and aerobatic moves! same great shoot em' up fun! xbox live rules! >>

I bought Unreal Championship II threee days ago, and forza motorsports yesterday. I buy way to many games.

i downloaded forza the otheday and installed it on my harddrive. you should buy a modchip, ive saved about a grand in games already >> just delete them when they get old and boring.

No kidding. I heard if you pre order it they'll throw in a copy of windwaker with updated graphics. Is that true? Or is it just a myth. I've been out of the loop as far as video games go since I quit my last job at a game store.

Have you seen Mercenaries or Gran Turismo 4, the PS2 game producers are just lazy, it's a good system though, just wait for the PS3 and XBox2, Microsoft has already admitted defeat as far as graphics, but I think they will still own the online market. Well i'll just stick to my PC, my GeForce FX is only 6 months old and is already way out of date.

Gran Turismo 4 looks good, but the PS2 does have the lowest graphics capabilities of the systems I think. If you play a game that's available on all 3 systems, the PS2 has the most graphics trouble (especially in the framerate) I've been most impressed with the Gamecube's graphics, but the game selection is pretty bad.

Framerate can be pretty bad for the PS2, but some of the notorious PS2 games (i.e. GTA) have problems on the XBox also, i've played the PC, XBox, and PS2 versions of Vice City and they all have problems. I will say that the XBox has the PS2 on top end, but the PS2 is the best for variety and that is why it is the most popular, plus it's the smallest. I think the PS2 could run close to the XBox on graphics, but your right framerate could be an issue. I still stick with my PC, I run Halo online with all the graphics options on high and don't have a problem, but I run a computer store and have sunk about $800 in my PC at wholesale prices.

STFU, why waste money on games that you only play one time through. they just sit there and are worth nothing.

I don't even turn my PS2 off and San Andreas has been running for about a week straight now, I don't seem to have a problem with it. I notice that later in the game the framerate lags but it's like that in Vice City also, just glitches.

i have a ps2 and an xbox. xbox has more processing power (700mhz vs 333mhz for ps2, i think) and also 64megs of ram vs 32megs on ps2. so the graphics, textures and detail are a lot better then what the ps2 can do. ps2 runs at 320x200 resolution, while xbox is at 640x480ish, so you get less ailiasing on the edges and the game looks more crisp.

the ps2 on the other hand has more games, and really dedicated developers that know how to make the most of its hardware. grand turismo 4 is a good example of the developer making the most out of his limitations and making a great game. but buy an xbox and compare the graphics to something like pgr2 or rallisport and youll see the differece.

i cant wait for the next gen of consoles coming out in november. if what the rumors say is true, those consolse will be amazing.
