Are you positive it has LSD? I was unaware that these tranny's came with LSD? Can you provide a picture of the LSD?

I'm about 90% sure JDM MR2's didn't come with 5SFE's... and I'm about 90% the 5SFE was NEVER mated to an LSD S54...

I dont think its a 5sfe engine.
But one thing im sure off is that it came of a 91 to 95 mr2 non turbo.
then im guessing its a 3sge engine for the mr2 from japan.
but they have an s54 tranny as well right?
and im 100 % sure that it has LSD.
you can see the bar across from the axle hole.

That's not a very good way to tell if it has LSD. I've seen trannies that have that cross bar thingie that doesn't have LSD... best way would be to turn the diff...

I believe that the S54 was for the NA only. I have a mr2 NA with bad synchros, so I might be interested. Let me do some pricing.

Sorry, I'm a poor college student, and wouldn't be able to afford it until sometime during the summer.
Well was it ever confirmed that this tranny has a LSD if so i am interested? If it did come from the JDM mr2 then yes it was off a 3sge motor. But i want to make sure it does have the LSD before i make the purchase. Thanks

just a thought but if the mr2s or whatever had this LSD s54, couldnt us celica GT tranny guys install an LSD? might save the life of the tranny a little?
