My friend just got 18x7.5 rims. Got tires for them, 225/40ZR18 (some brand called NEXEN).
The mechanic was trying to put the tires on the rim, but it will not properly seat against the rim. About 15% of the top half of the tire, when inflated, will NOT pop up to the rim. He even put 54 PSI in it at one point, and still would not pop up. So twice, he rotated the tire on the rim and tried it, and still a no go.
Anyone have ANY ideas what may be wrong? >
