Hey guys, recently the non-cartoon version of Initial D movie was produced by the producers in both Hong Kong and Japan. They purposely hired some D1 drivers for the movie. haha ya, my friend in hong kong is working a movie/game expo and i think he was working on the Initial D movie booth, apparently the guy who was playing takumi in that movie totaled 3 or 4 AE86s

sweet mother of jesus. I think I'm gonna fly to China. Its looks like they have characters wrapped up. I could tell which was which. Iggy and Bunta were flawless.

movie was filmed at Akina itself. whole movie was filmed in japan. it's probably from stage 1 till alittle of stage 4.. not sure bout that.

i wouldnt expect a "movie" to strattle 3 years worth of television + another movie... it'll probably be like a sidestory or a rehash of stage 1

I wouldn't think they'd go into all episodes but they showed a few people that I noticed are abit deep into first stage so I'm just curious if they'll follow the time line or go to some of the good battle stages.

subtitled, most likely an import, i doubt they'd ever full dub it over to a US version... it ruins the movie anyway.

the guy who plays takumi is Jay Chou. I highly doubt he was actually driving since this guy is a popular singer.
