What is the body kit... - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #2273 22 posts Started by KAMiX
Hey anyone who can answer this, what is the kit on the white celica in the top left of your window? It looks really nice, I saw that front on one of OReO's gt4 pictures, but couldn't put a name to it.

Thanks guys. I have been looking for a more scaled down version of the veilside front, and it look like this might be it.
The kit is the Varis Arising II kit, which is found in Japan. It's one of my favorite kits for the sixth gen. >smile.gif>

For more info and pics, click here.

New Toyota project coming soon...
i think its the varis arising kit from japan.
Coomer got it right >biggrin.gif>

=(
Thanks Coomer!

I have actually looked through all of the body kits, but I had another scan and couldn't see it >biggrin.gif>

This kit is a serious contender for my car! If I can hook it up I think I'll go for it. I haven't done any searching yet, but do you know if there is a website? Would even be willing to get a friend in japan ship it to me if I have to >smile.gif>
If you click on the manufacturer's name on most parts in the database, it takes you to the manufacturer's website, which is http://www.varis.co.jp/ in this case. I'm not sure that you can order from them though. I can't think of any sites that'd ship to Australia off the top of my head though. Maybe Takakaira.com, but I'm not sure.

New Toyota project coming soon...
Duh! Ok thanks for the link hehe.

As I said in the last post, I have a japanese friend who is over here at the moment, but he goes back regularly so I could get him to pick it up for me.

Don't forget the JDM head and tail lights >biggrin.gif>

OReO I have a mission for you mate! (or anyone else who posts as many pics as he does >smile.gif>

Can you try to find a high quality pic of the rear bumper on the Varis Arising II? I know you have a load of jap celi pics! >biggrin.gif>

I have looked at the prices from the Varis Website and they are pretty high!

Front Bumper = 88000 Yen = 1250 AUD = 750 USD
Rear Bumper = 68000 Yen = 950 AUD = 550 USD
Side Skirts = 60000 Yen = 850 AUD = 500 USD

All 3 Sideskirts = 198000 Yen = 2750 AUD = 1650 USD

So as you can see its fairly expensive, Maybe I'll only go for the front, i reckon it would look nice with other skirts/rears.

To all you exterior experts (OReO) >smile.gif> , what other rear bumpers are there that have a underbody section (like this one and the veilside). I think bumpers that cover the underbody make the celicas look so much nicer (the stock looks dirty!)
If you want it not to aggressive then I would stick to Euro

Or you can customize it with different body parts from other cars

=(
Or you can use G-Force rearskirts made from Top Secret.....wish I had that instead >frown.gif>

IS THERE ANYONE FROM THIS CELICA CLUB THAT ACTUALLY HAS THE VARIS ARISING II ON THEIR CAR??? >bowdown.gif>
i doubt it..

I highly doubt anyone on here has the kit on their car. But unless someone beats me to it i'm gonna have it on by the end of summer along with supra blitz sides and veilside rear. A bit much? Nah! >biggrin.gif>
Nobody has the Varis Arising i dont think but RidahCorleone has the Varis Extremor body kit which is still nice... >wiggle.gif>

Charlie I'm sorry to be so rude, but you jumped straight into the thread, blew me out of the water after I spent time researching, and didn't bother to explain your facts.

This thread seems to be going downhill, unless there are any informative, interesting posts in the next few days, can a mod close it please.
kaminx,....you need to relax, man....we're just trying to help you out...i dont think charlie was trying to be rude or anything, nor was i ...
