hey, im trying to install my s2000 antenna. i sawed off the stock antenna at the base and theres a cable attached to the antenna. im guessing this is the cable that extends the antenna. so my question is, am i suppose to cut off that cable? because the s2000 antenna doesnt extend....so do i cut the cable off at the base?

the how to is for manual antennas, allot of celi's have power antennas. i had a power one but uninstalled it...but a universal and cut that.

assuming Im reading your post right, that cable goes to your radio head. Did you get a cable with your s2000 or is there a plug in for one?

I did an S2000 conversion for my Camry and wrote a DIY for it. Not sure if it will help you though, but cheak it out.

if I remember right, you can get cheap s2k antenna's from the group buy on the everything celica forums.

Ah, mine was only $22 from the Honda dealership. Not too bad.
