my engine is making a slaping noise around 3k rpm range letting off the gas it stays till around 2k any know what it might be i need to fix it >> it is like almost a belt slapping but only does it in those rpm ranges and i have a manuel tranny 95 st everything else seems to be running good. so any help would be greatly apreciated >>

i think i have the same problems, its something with the valves.

my celica has 150k on it right now perhaps needs new rings ? i am running 5w 30 in her right now but i still cannot locate where that noise is coming from perhaps i may need to take her in >> have some one look at her anyway then fix it myself.
