ya i beat it, its cool how your able to play as ada, and that knife fight you do with krauser is spactaculer. I love it

Dude I know. Best game for Gamecube. So fun. There's so much to do. That Mercenaries stuff is SO cool. It's the way all the RE's should have been. Some very memorable moments, great fights. I love toward the beginning when you get trapped in that house with Carlos or whatever and they come in upstairs and through the windows, classic.

I remember playing RE2 and that game was pretty good, there were parts where stuff jumped out and scared the crap outa me.
Ryan, have you gotten Carlos bottlecap yet?

*bang bang bang bang bang*
"Leon!? Were you in charge of sending those invitations man? I told you, no more than FIFTY PEOPLE"
No? Elaborate?

the bottlecaps? thats Carlos' sound effect >smile.gif>
This game is such a downgrade from RE and all that oppose what I say are not die hard RE fans like my brother and I. The new RE games don't follow the whole "RE" take and is just mediocre rip offs using the RE name. Yes I will admit that the graphics, replays and movies are great but that is it.

Hi timbo, I've been a RE fan since the first one, I played all of them religious. Could you justify your opinion a bit further?
Agreed...i've been there since the 1st. re4 is different but i dont let that affect my judgement, there are always those that resist change. they tend to be the ones over ran by progress. i loved re4. the graphics and gameplay were friggin awsome... they're incredible.. >biggrin.gif>

WAR HAS NEVER SOLVED ANYTHING...EXCEPT FOR THE ENDING OF COMMUNISM, FASCISM, NAZISM, AND SLAVERY.
All RE's that I am referring to have started and taken place either in a mansion setup or city. I will admit that the way it starts out is similar to a RE type of game play but I also disagree with that. RE was never a random 1-to-2 button simulataneous button pressing for situations. Yes the RE4 game is more interactive. RE was never a 1st person view like RE4 has become. RE was always a lengthly story and you found all your ammo and guns and had many obstacles to overcome whereas RE4 you purchase everything and is too easy to beat.

The story still has something to do with umbrella.

Just because the story has to do with Umbrella in some way doesn't mean it follows the whole RE storyline that I am referring to.

So? You have a problem with a game franchise exploring new dimensions?
Yes due to the fact that the original storyline gets forgotten and with these new 'dimensions' the game further loses the RE concept. New dimensions are good when you follow the RE setup and well ever since RE: Zero they have been slowly going off track.

your arguments sound a lot like mine when I first heard about the game.. have you played it? beaten it?
RE5 confirmed; keeping the RE4 gameplay theme, as well.

shid, yes I have played it and have beaten it. Took all but a couple of hours to beat it and I wasn't impressed much.

that just shows that you haven't played it at all. it takes 15 hours to WALK through the game, assuming you dont kill anyone, etc.

On the 2nd or third playthroughs, you can usually get it down to 18 hours. But the 15 hour mimimum is set in stone.

You have NOT played or beaten RE4 obvious, as ont he first runthrough is usually takes upwards of 25 hours

Want to bet? Lol, my younger brother got it for Christmas along with the guide and it was a piece of cake. The game only has like 7 or 8 chapters if I remember correctly and you go by chapters easily. Also, I am heavy into RE games and those of the such and am very focused when doing so, so please do not assume. >wink.gif>

I'm not assuming, the time I stated is the absolute minimum amount of time based on your walking speed, reference ign.

Why the heck did you use the guide? no wonder you hate the game.
I used the guide due to it was there and it helps you find key items you need to find. I have the guides to RE: Code Veronica, RE3: Nemesis and RE2 and I love those games so I don't get where I hate RE4 due to the guide.

No, I wasn't saying thats why you hate the game, I was saying thats why you're opinion matters little, you're a guide monkey.
No offence, but who plays with a guide, its better to play the game (especially if it re) we n you dont expect anything, with a guide it just spoils the fun....

Guides are there for references you asses. I'm sure ever single thing either of you have done you done all by yourself and never cared once to look at a guide/manual/tutorial/etc. My apologies for not wanting to play a game like RE4 like I would normally play other RE games due to lack of interest in the new game play. BUT yeah, thx.
