yeh he prabably blew the old 7a so he wants to drop a new one in or somthing.

It's very easy... some Corolla already have them, the others have 4AFEs which are basically the same thing with a shorter stroke.

its not for me... i wrecked the celi and i wanna part out the engine and i found a kid with a 90 summin corolla and he wants to swap my old 7a in it. i just wanna get a list of things he needs so i can figure out what i can and cant give him....so whats up...what do i need?

im pretty sure its the 4a. i wouldnt see any reason for him to swap if it was the 7a. but im not sure.

check both wiring diagrams you might be able to plug the 7afe ecu in the harness and only have to change a few wires
