Hi,
I bought a stereo today and It doenst come with a wiring harness, so am I going to have to splice wires to get it hooked up?

Also I was just wonderin if this stereo is pretty good? I hear Pioneer is good, and I wanted one that would work with the Ipod.

Pioneer Headunit I bought

The one i got accepts Pioneer's future ipod adapter and also plays mp3 cds..
Ill get some pics when its installed..

Hey Rob; you can splice wires or you buy buy a wiring harness for toyota's 89-99.. sometimes that doesn't work so well cus of the amps tho

decent deck, pioneers new ones are really outstanding quality. Only bone to pick with that deck is the fact that there are only 2 pair rca's. i like mine to have 3. And ya, ur gonna have to cut some wire...

I had to cut and make my own wiring harness when I put my Alpine in. I could try and find the wire colors for the speakers, but other then that I don't remember what colors the others are. Also about the iPod, Alpine so far has a system that will work great with an iPod if you are still looking.

have pioneer just got the adapter wiring harness and i was good to go
no splicing
