we generally clean up posts that say its too expensive, or I can get this for cheaper elsewhere. why? because its a cause of argument and it undermines the seller's ability to sell the item.

how would you feel if someone posted in your thread, even if you had potentially listed a fair price, and said I can get this item for cheaper at this other place? that wouldn't be very fair.

besides, if the price is indeed to high and he can't sell the item I'm sure he will lower the price and try again. atleast that would be the logical next step.
