48mm is 7afe and B16. the length is off by two millimeters... which can be fixed for the most part. the piston pin on the honda is 21mm as opposed to the 20mm of the 7a and most 4a's.

the width is the possible problem, not the diameter. we need to know how wide the top end and bottom ends are on the 7afe. I have the B16info.

bingo. Got a ruler on hand? it really doesn't need to be that close... It'd be easy to get it to within a mm.

4ag's are 45mm journal, and 48mm mains. same as the 2zz.l I guess it's a -g- thing. >>

7a is 48mm mains and 48mm journals. According to Kwanza. You could measure that also. >>

17mm? dude, that's the size of a dime. Are you sure? I know the pin diameter is 20mm, and that on the rods pictured looks smaller than the BEW...
