but it has ridiculous miles, i think like 160,000 +........ if my insurance company will let me keep my car as a parts car. how hard do you think it will be to switch my old engine that only has 97,000 into the brown one. and has anyone even seen a brown 6 gen? i havent. regardless. i also think i might switch the clutch, or at least just keep it in storage. cuz i know im just getting to know standards. OR should i sell my 97,000 engine. and pay for some upgrades and stuff.. hmmmmmm...... its all a dilemma. any suggestions appreciated

The insurance company has no choice if you want to keep your car, make them give you an offer with and without keeping the car. I got to keep mine but it cost me around $950 but it will be worth that in the long run, since finding parts locally is hell.

If you do keep the car, I would just keep the same motor in it(as long as it is in good shape)and change it out whenever it goes bad. Just keep starting the other one about once a month and let it run for abit to keep it from locking up. If you sell it, do it locally because you won't get much if someone has to ship it.
if you part i need low beams
swapping same (5sfe) engines isn't that tough. Presure2 just did it a few months ago (and he is in MA too). The old car is a 94 right ? what year is the brown one ?

Actually if you look at the color code in the door jam it'll say the exact code. Mine was 4M9, which IS Cashmere Beige (Metallic). 1A2 would be Topaz Metallic. Probably the same color with a different name.
