i have a red ST with tinted windows also. i am seriously thinking about getting gunmetal MR7's. what do you guys think of this car as it will basically be the exact same as mine (except front lip).

Gunmetal rims on darker cars, including red, does not look as good on lighter cars. There is just not enough contrast and the car ends up looking a little too ghetto....just my $.02

Yea gunmetal rims are not that great looking IMO. I don't know I think silver just looks so much cleaner.

i say you should get teh gunmetal rims. it doesn't matter what we think, it's not our car. but sine you wanna know what we think, i think you should get gunmetal...

yeah I agree that gunmetal by itself looks a bit ghetto. try finding something with a silver lip or maybe bronze rims would look better.

yeah, i like how the rims look on TRDCelicaST's car. the silver seems like a good color for the red car and i like how they sort of flow with the headlights, euro side markers and turns, and the fogs. i have all of that except the fogs and i think it will look good. any other rim suggestions though? im looking at mr7's for now until someone can change my mind.

IMO and also like what gh0st_D0g also said, get a a black rim (hyperblack) I think with a chrome tip/lip. Thats would look very clean IMO. I am wishing to get those kinds but I'm so broke.

i dont really like hyper black rims. to me, it just seems like the rims arent even there and blend in too much. anyone know what rims tufy has? i think those look pretty damn good.

I disagree. I have a red car w/ gunmetal with a chrome lip, and i think it's sexcellent. I don't care for those motegi's or any motegis. Their a cheap wheel and it shows.

As for silver, silver is so cheap looking. Chrome, gunmetal, flat black, or metallic black. Pick one or a combo of those

yea black or gunmetal looks wack on red cars.. gives it alot of rice and takes class away from our cars... cajun rice. terrible.
