Hey I have a stock gt and I might need some tires soon right now I have dunlop sp5000's between the two sp5000's and avid v4s which would be a better choice.
yokohomas are very good quality tires, id say go with them
dido i loves my yokos i have the es100's
same situation with me- and im also looking at the yokos... not considering dunlops but I am thinking about BFgoodrich Traction TA's...

Car #3: 98 Accord LX- purchased 5/06, totaled 8/06Car #2: 95 Celica GT- purchased 8/03, current daily driverCar #1: 01 Focus ZX3- purchased 5/01, sold 8/03
dunlops are ultra performance all season and yokos are just high but in the ratings yoko get better ratings. whats the difference betwenn high and ultra high
bfgoodrich is a great tire, i will seriously never buy another brand of tire.

the difference between high and ultra high is the level of "performance". ultra high will have better dry traction but worse wet traction. and the high will have good dry traction but better wet traction than the ultra high

if its for a daily driver a high performance tire would be fine. with ultra high u will hydro plane alot
I think im probley gonna get some yokos for my next set of tires. thanks for the info
NO YOKOS!!!!!!! I had your exact situtation. stock 94 gt. no clue what tires to get. I ended up getting full set of yoko avids (i had some jap falkens before 225/50/15) and the ride is **** now with 205/55 (stock). the only thing i love about my avids is they handle like a champ in the rain and the tire life is so much longer than most performance tires (rated at 5xx)

dunlop sp 5000 = 340 AA-A (better ride)
yoko Avid v4s = 500 AA-A

i think the old tires were called ohtsu or something. i was told they were the japanese version of falken

otherwise... i'd suggest you get some ContiExtremeContacts. damn nice tires

Donlops are the best in wet cold especialy SP6000 see pics, had yokos I dont think they are better unless they are very hot and dry.
