I've heard good things and I've heard bad - but mostly good. They're a reputable namebrand. I personally have one.

Same here. My Stage 3 engages hard and feels exactly like stock. No clutch chatter.

QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.
the only bad thing that I can notice about them, is that they're too expensive.

I THINK
Well... I've installed a couple (not on my cars) and I have to say I don't like them... Their discs are weak. For the price... I'd rather get an excedy or something...

i'm personally a ACT fan, but I dont think they make a Celica one, but they do make a MR2 one which is all I want. >smile.gif>

ACT have one 6 pad disc for our cars..... i had one and i was not vary happy with them!
umm.Clutchmasters are great. I bought a Clutchmaster Stage 1 last year. So much nicer than stock. I also compared it to ACT and clutchmaster was CHEAPER than act and i read more reliable. Well, about 50K miles later- it still shifts crispy and smoothly. I ordered it online and gave it to my mechanic to install. no probs at all- except i stalled the car when i got in cuze it was so much different than stock..my next clutch will be.....clutchmaster--same exact..
