Shes done! - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #20008 31 posts Started by madmods
Maybe I'm getting old, cuz I am burned out, but I spent 8 days, 10 hrs a day finishing this. Its done, and it needs a few pinholes filled, but I wait until I do the full body shave, then paint. I ended up adding the 7th gen celica vent to it. Heres some pics:
Next projects are hood and getting the lambo doors to open fully up(vertical)

whoa, so extreme!!

nice job!! really nice >biggrin.gif>
Hmm I don't like the vent very much but I really like the front. And those sides are nice too. Good work.

nice job with all the custom work, man...not my bag of tea, but still great to see some of you guys pushing the limits a bit! >smile.gif>
gonna have to stick some HUGE rims in there to take up the space >wink.gif>

Another convertible kicking a$$
Props for the custom work madmods. I like the front the best.

QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.
I see what you guys are talking about. the fumes have been getting 2 me! Quickgrip and a heat gun should allow me to warp the bottom of the spoiler in more towards the wheels. Not till next week, I'm taking a much needed break. Might even go vacation at doGGys. >biggrin.gif>
not to sounded rude but... like presure2 said needs sume big old rims and tires to fill in those wheel well's...but ither then that it looks alright i like the front and sides, good job
i was afraid to say that also, but you will need some larger rims to tie the whole car together.

and comon, get us some day time shots of this beast. >smile.gif>
not rims just larger tires will do the job, or pull the kit back some, but tires would be alot easier

edit: forgot to say the car looks tits man.

hows it taste motha f*cka
No offense, but don't you think it looks kinda funny. I mean I'm not trying to hate or anything. It's kinda like Micheal Jackson with one too many surguries...
nice job...

I think its mostly those rims, they look way to small in the wheel wells. I like the front but that vent looks out of place and it just looks to busy for me. Like you tried to squeeze to much into it. If you took that out I think it would look clean.

Current rims are 17, but Im going to squeeze 18s in the front and 19s in the rear.
What the front needs are projectors!
my .02 cents, so don't get mad. I honesty like where you are going with it, but my biggest pet peeve is to see the wheel well, with a little dinky tired and wheel in there, surrounded by massive body panelling. How to fix?

The most important lesson I learned from Karate-Dô Kyôshan–“You can not be what you do not believe you are”
I have not installed the inner fenders yet. They have been pulled off, and give it that illusion. I won't put them back on untill I get my lambo doors modified and my laser fenders on.
props on the custom job as usual. Keep an eye out i got something brewing for you and Doggy. >smile.gif> Kudos
