Son of Supra - 6G Celicas Forums
Supras look better IMO.. but the 500hp makes up for it. >
>
Holy crap, wtf kind of rear end is that?!
I'd like it if it wasn't so ugly.
YoungSurvival.Org-Celica traded for.. 350z.. traded for Mazda5.. soccer mom!
i dont know, they need to tone some stuff down and release a base model that we all can afford.
it's definitely got that supercar look, with that supercar price tag.
i agree with most people that have seen it, it is kinda ugly.. if i had the money i'd probably throw down on it. you got performance, and the toyota reliability.

I actually dig the front-end but the rear, gah!
It resembles the spyshots but I don't believe it quite yet. I'm leaning toward the fact that it will be a Lexus now. There's no confirmations. Just wait until Tokyo.

ill believe it when i see it, and i doubt we'll get it...im suprised we got the wrx and the evo
2011 Spice Orange Mini Cooper2011 Alpine White BMW E92 M3gone but not forgotten2008 Space Grey BMW Z4 ///M2009 Black Honda Civic LX Coupe2006 Magnetic Black Nissan 350Z2007 Crimson Red BMW 335i Coupe
Ummmmm I think they made a mistake, it should be called "Son of 7gen Celica" lol
well hey, at least we get SOMETHING. i mean, toyota here in the states isn't synonymous with "performance"
the last & greatest thing we had is the 7th gen, which has been phased out.
i hope they tone down the exterior, and the price tag, and sell it like hotcakes.

I dont care how fast it is >

Nice rims though...
it said RENDERING thats not the actual design cause they DON"T KNow but personally i think its hot
ok that car is weird, and looks like the head ligths should be pointing in the other direction, so the lines folow the lines of the bonnet.
also the front peak action looks like they went to take some style from merc, but it just came out looking like a prelude, except i think the prelude looks heaps sweeter than this thing....
basicly change the front, and the rear and keep the basic shape from the side and your set

Link does not work for me. and when i cut the link down to just the .com it still does not work.
anyway, if thats it (in amys post) Its not a real picture, so who know what it looks like, hopefully not that. with the amount of power they could put into something like that 500 does not seem like enough.
now if they where pushing 650-700 out of the factory it would fit the price tag. any upcoming supra has to live up to the old ones, and if you can whoop its butt with a fixed up 98, for a 1/3 the price then who would want one.
I can see it as a race car, kinda has that GT look to it, but not a production.

1) The front looks like 350Z meets Rod Millen's "Ultimate celica" meets mercedes SLK
2) The rear looks rediculus
3) Theres no way on EARTH Toyota's F1 team will ever get on the podium consistantly lol, they just lost their best driver and Ferrari, Renault, and BMW are decades ahead of them.

ditto
unless you buy a car for each member of a 4 person family, totaling $100k
i think its stupid for toyota to make something like this, something where the people who buy toyotas dont have the money for it, and the people who do have the money, would never consisder buying a toyota

Buy my Celica $2,500 -http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=76562&st=0
The body designer was Gonzo from the muppets, during his stint of LSD, lol. I still think the Lexus concept will be the next Supra, at least in America so that they can price it at $100,000 and actually get away with it. Knowing our luck it will be worth $30,000 USD in Japan.
