There is a vert in the cal- mine's on the front cover >> it's not IN the cal tho because I felt too guilty with it not getting enough votes. Your picts were too small (at 1024*) to include in the cal, sorry ricky.

ToyCeli, I know I'm in LA; but the calendar place is still shipping them to me- we're using cafepress to do all the printing. The upside is that anyone can order anytime during the year- the downside is that I have no control over what the actual calendar (dates, whats on it, etc) look like. Hopefully by next year cafepress will give us that option.

I tried contacting tressa to have her print shop handle printing, but every email i sent her was returned.

id like one when there out.

Since he's waiting for the test calendar & all that! Im pretty sure if he changed anything now we wouldnt be able to order these before the end of the year. There wouldnt be enough time!

edit: I Do agree w/ Wolf though that silver italian Celica would look good in the Calendar! It would make a better November than the image that was chosen IMO

guys keep in mind this is our first calender ever and there really wasn't a lot of time to put it all together. considering that I think shid did a fabulous job organizing and executing the whole thing. odviously there are gonna be some issues, some cars not included etc but theres always next year >>

Yeah too bad the top 12 weren't these choosen ones, would have loved to been in it.

The poll wasn't meant to decide exactly the top 12, see my other posts where I very carefully explain this. Basically it was meant to get a feel for what the celica community wanted to see- which snow picture was better, etc etc.

There are 3 discrepencies between the poll and the final result, but I stand by the final result.

votes dont matter, the silver celica(Seth), Erics1one, and I are out...
Pressure2, Mynzeyes, Lagos, and the snow celica held on, and/or moved up.

but if all my $300 digi cam can do is 1600X1200
my digi cam suck(edited to prevent further arguing, just...frustrated)

They didn't, exceptions were made based on how good the image was vs resolution. For instance, if you had an average image, the resolution requirements were higher; if you had an above average image, the resolution requirements were lower (IE: here's a picture of my car jumping the grand canyon, but I only have it in 1280*768; is that ok?")

What also determined the final calendar were frequency of car types

in the end, the silver celica was not a good picture of the car. Eric, your picture with a house in the background might be a good picture of the car, but it's got a house in the background. Consynx, your photo was also just ok photo wise.

in the end, they were cleared to make room for the snow picture, or better seasonal pictures, or better taken pictures.

As for the silver car taking the place of the november car- that car made it in with the vote. if I kicked pressure2s car out, people would be asking why that car wasn't in.

We didn't have to have a vote- most sites don't and now I know why.

And as for changes being made right now- it's possible. But it's not gonna happen.

maybe next time the min req. resoltion can be made final, and the images you can vote on can only meet the req...that way the group as a whole can determine it and prevent this.

or whoever is organizing it can just make it while getting opinions of others in private, and not publicly.
please do not take this offensively, im trying to prevent this from happening again, because iunno how others feel, but after i feel like the money i've spent so far was purposeless

As for the money you've spent- what money have you spent on the calendar?

Honestly, the only person whose spent money on the calendar so far is me, with over 20 work hours on it and 35 bucks for a test print.

it's not just this, but a combination of things, i found my nuckles to be quite sore this morning, i kept bunching thing like the brick walls, steel linings, and my desk, which broke for a bit...so know that is not just the calendar. i was in need of a vent, and...i got a bit out.

Chucho, if you need to, you can purchase them today. I'm setting up. However; I have not recieved my test print yet. While everything SHOULD be fine- I can't guarantee that everything will be fine. There's still the chance that SOMETHING is wrong.

However, I have no idea when this stupid test print is supposed to arrive, there's a distant chance that it will arrive too late for many of you to order for xmas.

Rather than let that happen, I'll be posting the website you can order off of today (in about an hour) for those of you that need them before xmas.

For those of you that don't, I recommend waiting around til I post that I've gotten the test print and everything cleared (or I fixed everything)
