I saw that car in Virginia a couple years back. Its lookin good. Mike, if youre on here what are you driving now? I sold the probe and I have a 04 jetta and a 98 volvo c70 coupe that I play with now. You still in Cali?

I've always loved the 6th Gen Celicas since day one, and swore on my grandmother's grave I'd get one before I die. The day came when I had the money for it, so I start looking. I planned to buy a well kept stock GT, and mod it myself. I was looking nationwide on Autotrader and was considering to have one shipped if necessary. I didn't look at 6gc.net or any other enthusiast site since I didn't want to buy one premodded. Didn't have the money for it.
So after about 3 months of scoping out autotrader, I found this celica. Of course my first impressions were WTF? A decked out Celica, being sold at a dealer, for only 8k? I figured something had to be wrong, so I immediate called the guy at Mirage Luxury Auto Sales in Scottsdale. Not only did I find out the engine was in good working condition, but that it also had a custom turbo kit on it. Of course I went down there that day to check it out. When I got there, the shop was closed with the beautiful machine sitting inside. I went in without anyone in the lobby and circled it one time before a maintenance guy kicked me out. I only needed to walk around it one time before I knew I'd pay a lot more than 8k for this thing.
They must have had a problem with their autotrade page since the car disappeared after only 2 days of being posted. Scared ****less, I called them back to confirm that indeed it was still for sale. It was, so I began bargaining with the salesman. This guy was such a flake. I jumped through so many hoops to get them to get my deal rolling. I wanted that car, and didn't want them to take it back, or sell it to anyone else. The car was in the shop for minor repairs by the dealer and they procrastinated about every bit of needed processing. It took probably 3 months since the day I called to get to drive that thing off the lot...officially.
Sure I got lucky, but I worked so hard to get that car from them, a 3 month waiting time should have some kind of payoff.
wow thats a great deal... thats depressing mike had to sell such a nice car to a dealer >> but sounds like you got it at a great price >>

At least it wasn't a cheap dealer or anything though. They normally only sell $40k+ cars, I think the salesman just wanted to play with it for a little bit. I don't blame him.

You should have checked this site first. Nice deal tho. If your intrested tho I'd search mikes old posts and find out what he was selling it for. Id say he droped that # by about 20-30% tradeing it in also.
I went to Mtn Ridge for my Frosh Year...big school, i liked it a lot...i use to live in Arrowhead Ranch(believe that was the name) the cookie-cutter houses... i hear there's a big school where an empty lot use to be for years(and a creek)
i really wish i had never moved, but at the same time, im grateful for the schooling i am receiving, and after getting a 1.8 I realized i gotta work harder here too.
do you happed to know any of the '03 class from there? even though it was a big class there's like a 70% chance i know them, because before the schools split into middle schools i was w/ people from whatever high school starts with "D"(skummish compared to Mtn Rdge)....so i knew them, then met more in middle.
