Ok i just want to clear a couple things up on the engines i hear numbeous ones and i read different things each time I was just wanting to make sure exacly what these engines are
3sfe
3sge
i don't understand the differences between them.
The main difference is in the heads of the two engines. The 3S-FE has a "F" economy-based head...it has a shallow valve angle and is designed to produce power at mid-RPM levels. The 3S-GE has a "G" performance-based head, which produces more power at higher RPM, and has a much greater valve angle. I've got both engines in my '88 Celicas, and they're both good engines...one's just a lot more powerful than the other. >wink.gif>

For more info, here is a good link. >smile.gif>

New Toyota project coming soon...
ya i would like to find a nice cheap 3sge engine and turbo that although the 3sgte engine is already turbo'd but i coudl then build my own turbo for the 3sge engine just have to find one at a decent value with a tranny
digndoug (i think that's how you spell it) has a 3s-ge w/ tranny for sale pretty cheap.

it's in the buying/selling area obviously. >wink.gif>
