i think it is very humerous though. people look at games like vietnam and ghost recon 2 and all these games depecting american soldiers and spec ops people as "heros" killing off "vilainous commies" and the like, these games rate 10 out of 10 and or atleast damn near close to it. a game comes out depecting something bad that happened to an american and all of a sudden bam the game is an outrage. i havent played it, i wont play it, but the point im trying to make is i find it hilarious how egotistical and arrogant the american public is, and it seems the more gaming companies want to push the envelope, the more apparent it is. South Korea recently banned Ghost Recon II in their country, i cant blame em. to me the game is more like a training mission than a fictional story. its like a precursor to what is going to happen in the next few years.

you also have to look at the game as what it is being intended for, the developers did not just go "hey, lets make a game where you can shoot a dead president!" they really thought this thing out. they recreated it to the best of their ability. the whole goal is to disprove the idea that one single individual killed the former president. they even offer a reward for the person who can most closely re-inact the shots supposedly taken by oswald. they are trying to prove a conspiracy, not defile a former president.

Believer, you'll leave her, in leaving them allNo but I don't buy itLike anything you do, as anyone you areCause I'm...Ten Speed, of God's Blood & Burial

You should see the game they're working on. It's called JFK Retarded. You play as JFK if he would have survived with brain damage. You get to go to physical therapy where the male nurses molest you and then you get to go wheelchair drag racing.

Project ST204.5 99.88946% complete...
i have to agree with tim on this one... there are TONS of games where americans recrete real events that were good for us, but bad for someone else... most of them are FPS war games... do you think a vietnamiese person who lost family in the vietnam war likes the idea of millions of people loving a game where the object is to kill as many vietnamiese people?? no, but do americans care? nope... but then they get all anal when a company releases a game where you assassinate a president....
I agree with Tim aswell, especially with the Tom Clancey games...
Some day, someone is gonna come out with a 9/11 sim...

oh wait, thats Microsoft Flight Simulator >rolleyes.gif>
i agree with boosted as well.
very sad, i saw the story about this on the news, the makers said it was ment to be edjucational but i could not understand that bs. This game will bomb for shure

What a sick thing to do, I think there is a line between games and reality, and this game crossed it.

MS flight sim does not allow you to fly into buildings anymore, you go right throw.
