The best known Springfield is in Illinois, but that might not be it.
They have never said, and in episodes where they have to point out where it is they just say "its over there" and not point to anything, so i think its just made up town/city
they are from SPRINGFIELD USA.... i not sure but i think every state has a springfield and thats why the chose that name for the town the live in...
