what are the differences in the 6thgen gt and gts?

Canadian GT-S = American GT 2.2L 5S-FE engine, 15" alloys, 4 disc ABS brakes...
Canadian GT = American ST 1.8L 7A-FE, hupcaps, 2 discs, 2 drums.

I think (I could be wrong) GT-S has a beefier suspension than the GT, GT-S has tower bars. Also, I have factory leather seats and 8 speaker sound system. Dunno if that is standard on the GT-S.

Oh sorry, I didn't know that. So are there ST models in Canada? Because I have never seen one around. But I have seen some celicas with hubcaps and rear drums.

can`t say i have seen any st around.however my car had hubcaps at one time so don`t know what the scoop is? maybe it just depends on what type of package was bought from the dealer. >>

I live in Canada and own a 94 GT-S. The car came with a front tower bar but no rear one. You are correct about the interior and stereo. The upgrades are standard equipment. I have an ivory colored leather interior with a black dash and black doors. The 8 speaker sound system works so well, I have never bothered to replace it. The head has AM,FM,TAPE, and CD. The amp is under the drivers seat.
