It is true. I may be selling my celica and start over a few years from now. But as for now,,,,I'm flat broke. My celica is too nice to drive around and my civic just died on me. So I'm throwing the offer out there to see if anyone is seriously interested. Check out my profile for pics and I can email you a ton more. I also have video I can send you. I've put around $26,000 into the car and I'll make a list of mods below. There is about $20,000 of physical parts on the car now. The paint is GM arrival blue with a black base coat, and with flake. I ran a 13.7 in the quarter mile and should have been in the low 13's with the old turbo. It needs bigger injectors, the mr2 tranny, and an aftermarket computer and will run low 11's. The new turbo is good for 360 at the wheels. Email me at swapd3s@yahoo.com if you are seriously interested. The 3sgte has 50,000 miles on it, new timing belt, water pump, fuel, and ignition components. The car has 160,000 miles.

Are you still in Ohio? If you are, I'd be interested. What are you looking to get?

Cool car, it actually like it and it has a body kit. (is hell freezing over?) But I think the price quoted some some of those parts are bit high.

Free bump for a cool celi

Thats all pretty high prices concidering all those parts are used and you rounded the "new" price of them up.

Pics would help you sell the car faster... Ebay would help even more.

Wow guys, I said I might be selling the car if I get a good offer. I listed what I put into the car and what I paid for the parts. I just moved down to Florida. I'm not putting a price on it. I'd like to see what a buyer would be willing to put on it. If it's the right price I'll probably sell it b/c at this point I don't have much of an option.

Wow, whoever did your exhaust and LCD screen ripped you off.
The muffler was $250, 2 pieces of flexpipe $120, resonator $50, high flow cat $100, 3" stainless steel piping was $175, and the downpipe was $300 and flanges. The performance shop that welds stainless and ceramic coating charges $60 per hour, which isn't included in with the price I listed.
Is that a bill "no cash" turbo kit? If not, who did the exhaust manifold?

QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.
