I say go for the viper alarm. The one with the screen on the remote. A lil more expensive but damn thats a hot alarm. The one they sell at my work even has a turbo timer that comes with it.

I've heard some of the best anti theft devices are made yourself.. like a series of switches connected to your starter that have to be in a certain order for the car to even start.. hell you could even locate it in some odd location a potential robber wouldnt think to check like under a seat or under the ashtray.. be creative and i'd suggest using a lojack system... ::Nod::

lol If you just wanna protect your system then just use government grade anti-shattering window film.. I heard car dead-bolts work pretty well too so maybe if you coupled them together..... who knows >

Wow. They have a film that protects glass from blunt trauma? Pretty damn strong film eh?
To my knowledge, for that kind of protection (ie: baseball bat) you need a special type of glass like the stuff on the S500 Guard.
::Nod:: they had a news report on it a while back where they tested it. They shot it (30 foot range) with a revolver (Window cracked but didnt shatter) hit it with a baseball bat, molitov (SP?) cocktail and then shot at it some more. It cracked the **** out of it but it never once actually lost its structure. I think they said it went for about 60 bucks per square foot of material.
