Painting Help - 6G Celicas Forums

I decided to paint my own spoiler, I bought the same color of my car in a spray can at an automotive store.

I sanded then wet sanded the spoiler, and I finished applying a few layers of primer.

my question is, would it be better if I wet sanded the primer before I apply my paint?

should I wet sand my last layer of paint before the clear coat?

what's the best way for me to prevent chipping and what not

thanks everyone
Yes you should wet sand the primer and the last layer of paint before the clear coat. You should also use a cleaner to keep oils from getting in the paint job.
would varsol work as a cleaner? or would that strip away at the paint/primer

I didnt think you needed to wet sand the primer, as far as i know you just wet sand for final clear coat..
600grit wet sand primer
2200 grit wet sand color
