Rotors... - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #1533 15 posts Started by Benevolence
never heard of the other company. stick with brembo or kvr rotors and try getting them cadium plated to resist rust. Also, if you can, try to gget just slotted rotors imo.
dude that is an excellent deal in my opinion
i have actually been watching both those auctions >tongue.gif>
Ive been watching all the auctions too, another thing are the front and back rotors the same size for a GT? so if I just bought two sets of rotors say from ebay for the celica they would fit fine?
I believe the front and rears are different.

ok, thanks.
The only reason i say this is cause i think someone told me that the fronts are either .5" or 1" larger in diameter than the rears.
I should be getting my Front cross drilled and slotted Bradi rotors in the mail one of these days, when i get my rims mounted and balanced, im gonna ask them to throw em on >wink.gif>
get the brembo crossdrilled slotted rotors there kick a$$!!!

ONE advice for everyone buying rotors: I went with the KVR cross-drilled and cadium plated 1 1/2 year ago and standard rotors at rear. Today I must change asap those stupid front cross drilled rotors cause they
are filled with rust and make awful noise while the rear ones are still OK. I live in Canada in the winter is pretty rough for exposed parts so that may be the cause but for the price you pay, you don't get much besided the look (thats when they havent rust yet). I guess they might be useful only if your doin some serious track racing
The GT and ST have different rear brakes, I believe. GT has 4-wheel disc.
Make sure the seller knows this.
