Hey guys, inspired by Tufy's new pictures from the magazine, I'd like his, and whoever else's permission, to possibly make a collage for a new background sometime in the near future here. I warn you, it probably won't be anything professional and I need to learn a couple things about sizing the file right to make a well fitted background on the computer, but I wanna use some of the nicer cars on the site and give it a try. There are no guarantees that this will be a successful project, but if it is, it will be bad ass. I'll keep you all up to date on the progress to, just to make sure I don't make anything that people don't like. I'll probably use like 3 or 4 select cars, but they will be from this site and from people who give me the permission to use them. (Don't wanna be gettin' in trouble now >> ) So first, gimme feedback on what you all think of the idea, and then gimme permission to make it a possibility. Thanks all.

You just gotta have some patience sometimes...it's sometimes easy to look over posts...I, for one, didn't see this thread until now for some reason(maybe working 12 hour days is affecting me after all. >>), even though I've been on the site since 6:00 AM today. >>

Anyway, I think it's a cool idea. I'd like to see what you come up with once you get permission from the people who own the cars you'll be using...I'm sure no-one will mind, but just be sure to get permission first. >>

Make sure uzthedentist's and doGGy's cars are both included, there's no reason not to have those in there.

Haha, for sure, so long as they both gimme permission to put them on I will for sure. Shoot, tell you the truth, I think once I get into it, i could make a few backgrounds, kind of a series of them if you will. So yea, Definitely will use Doggy's and Uthenized's cars! I'll probably ask tufy and bkholer and some other one's to. Maybe make an all GT-4 one and then an all modded GT and ST or something. The possibilities are endless, what'dya think?

Okay guys, I was screwing around a lil bit tonight, was bored, and so I decided to just mess around with a background idea and try out some things and then run them by you and see what you thought. Note: I'm not looking for just good feedback, I'm looking for all feedback, but so long as it's constructive. no bashing on this one if you don't like it please. Make it constructive >>

the whole thing looks too washed out. for wallpaper, you have to make it a bit on the darker side so that the icons on the desktop stand out more.

Okay, so I know it looks washed out, now how about the design? Too much going on? I sometimes tend to do that. I can darken that easy, but as I said before, that thing probably took me like 10 min to make and I was just messin' around w/ some ideas. >>

that looks pretty cool, i think its a bit to busy, and you should try to get the cars to possible fade into the background abit more, the celica sign behind it is hot tho.
