went to city hall yesterday and found out the glory of starting your own business! woo hoooo. Its cheap enough, but to make sure your tough enough for the job, they give you 50000 papers to fill out. Most of which I'll do this weekend and hand in eariler next week after labor day.
Looks good though, I'll keep you posted.

Updates!
Called the Dept of Revenue today - w00t! Papers will be filled soon and then my license. The day it comes is the day I will get a wholesale connection with extremedoors.com. And thus make a nice group buy here for savings for all you 6gc'rs. In the time being, can someone go through and make a list of people who are serious. I dont need links in the list this time. Thanks, im getting busy.

I will warn everyone, getting a business license isn't an overnight thing. It'll be a couple weeks. Save your monies, and I'm gonna get the guy who bought this kit to post more about it in here for our pleasure.
turboinduction, how much do you think the GB will reduce the price compared to the Ebay price (900$)?
and how much do you think it'll cost for the 100degree kit?

been away for some time, whats the update on this? price? how many people are in?
Well i have some interesting news and a few points to make!
First The kit extreme doors will provide swings i think at a 45* angle if im not mistaken? then it is made just for our cars, where as the Aerokit.com is a universal kit which holds a 300lb door, plus if you were to sell your car you can remove the kit and place on your new car, plus it opens at a 90* angle!
So i guess what im asking, what does the ED kit hold in weight?
And would we be able to use for a new car?
I mean for a $100 diff, im not sure what the better buy would be?
Thanks,
DJ MC

DJ, I'm sure a "made for Celica" kit will be better than "universal." Of course, I could be wrong. This kit also comes in 2 degrees - 45* and 100* for a little more. You can ask Rob how his 45* kit is going if you'd like. I haven't heard anymore on the license yet, but I'll call tomorrow for an update to let people know. As for when I need the money.... well chances are I'd probably just be a reseller. Meaning, its not gonna make much differnce to me if its 100 kits or just 1 kit. I'd like a GB for things to be much easier, but I'm sure I can work something out if you cant make the GB.

ok sounds good!
I am wanting in on this buy, does anyone know a price yet.
hey just wandering how things were going, i need to know what my time limit it is, i just found out about the cf rear hatch and am more interested in that right now, so its not looking real good on me getting this, will this be a one time thing or will i be able to get these in like 6-9 months, i am guessing its not one time if your spending time and money on getting a lisc.

Just an update:
I'm going to my accountant tomorrow around 2:00. He's going to finish off all the legal paperwork so my business can start. I was going to do a sole propritorship, but have changed my mind into a LLC. Which means a little more work. Once the LLC is in full swing, I'll contact that business along with many others for wholesale rights. In turn, I'll have a month by month group buy on a certain product. First of course will be the vertical doors. I'll keep all posted.

sounds good. good luck, i'll be watching to see what you get.
Rob has mentioned that the doors didn't raise high enough yet, and needed a bit more tweeking before being able to go higher.
it looked a little hard to get out of, but im sure he'll figure out a way around it
either way, i'd personally think that a kit for the calica is better, takes a lot less work, and is worth the money...i'd imagine it having a better chance to work on a new car with some fabrication skills because they will have to take into account no frame over the window, AND a close curved fender.
