Whats the actual name for the thing that holds the rear numberplate? I want to take my UK long plate holder off and put a jap style small plate holder on, having trouble looking for one cause i dont know what its actually called. Anyone know what the name is and where i might find one? part number?

I've always called that piece a Rear License Valance. I believe the US style and Jap style are the same.
I'd help you out with the part number on the back side of it, but I traded mine for a UK style one with 3TST in France. I know where I can get a US/Jap style one for you or a part number.

It's called the finish panel in the US. It's about $125 online. I like the UK one better then the US one
