Yea, I would love to have that manifold. I have a friend that will sell me a ball bearing turbo cheap.

you need a heck of a lot more than a turbo and manifold to get that running.

seriously though they are making one
From what I understand about ball bearing turbos, they are self-contained. All I would need is a blow off valve, tubing, (an intercooler) and maybe a few upgrades to run low boost.
I thought there was a d00d in celica.net that was making a 7afe turbo kit >

hit the link on top and find out but knowing yall u prolly won't even bother

No it was some d00d that was making turbo kits for celicas.
Very nice rlan214.
This is what I am talking about.
Keep it up and do a write up to it on the how.
You have the pics to demonstrate the work.

What about the Burien website, i thought they made a turbo kit for the 7AFE??? >
>
What about these supposed 'universal' kits you see floating around. How could they get away with that?
It's probly just a turbo with some pipes and cupplings. Nothing that would actually get you turboed, just get you in the right dirrection.
I had a link in my favorites to some Burien Toyota website that apparently had some turbo kit for the 7afe , it cost like $2,200 and it came with everything but i lost the link >
> is this true and what else do you need to get that running if you did buy it? besides the install
the burien turbo kit is not for the 7afe, it is for the 5sfe
I would think it would work though if you modified the manifold.
go to coomer's "feasible engine swaps" post, and there is a part about turbos....he has the link to the 5sfe kit from burien, and a link to some other site with **** you need to do a 7afe, but not a kit. i assume its not all the **** you need as well, but maybe...hope that clears things up. mark.
Just find someone with a ST that did a turbo install and ask them what all they needed and then just compair that to a kit that you find. Might end up saving money that way.
