i dunno if this is a correct assumption, but it seems Cyprus is a tourist hot spot more than anything else, mabey a larger scale Ibiza or Grand Carina? Ive heard it is very beautiful with lots of hilly terain and lots of Coniferous (sp) trees... reminds me of Greece from the pictures ive seen online. seems like a cool place!
