I've autocrossed before in my car club (its like the SCCA but its at my university). For those of you that don't know who the SCCA autocrossing works, the track is usually about a 60 second course and is set up out of parking cones. Ours take place at a closed down airport that is pretty open. Its a fun type of racing that anyone can do, I suggest taking a look into it. Here's a link to the SCCA (this type is under SOLO 1/SOLO 2).
