I was just wondering which computer upgrade would be better or other alternatives
Venom 400/ Jet chip - 6G Celicas Forums
they both are a waste of money, IMO. they are meant to help a highly modified car bypass the stock ECU. this is definitely not a mod you want to do now, it won't add hardly anything, maybe 1-2 HP on a stock celica. save it for later.

Get a Super afc and try not to blow your engine to hell.
Noone should get a S-AFC if they know shiit about A/F ratios.
All your gonna do is end up screwin yourself and blowing up your engine.
All your gonna do is end up screwin yourself and blowing up your engine.
that's why you have somebody tell you where to set it. Read up on how your A\f and things should be, and DO NOT experement.
But experimenting is all part of the learning process, and all the fun stuff happens when you experiment. >

Ha, like pistons flying through your hood? (no, it couldn't happen, but it would be cool if it could.)
Who says it couldn't happen?
I bet someone out there has done it.

I bet it's cause the auto has a set RPM shift number, and a chip increases the gear change rpm

Lol!!!
I had some friends going to the diesel college up in TN. They couldn't find a ride back here to AL so they went to one of these really crapy used car places and bought a crap car.
It blew up about half the way home. They poped the hood and could see into some of the cylinders(but the engine would still run.
SO they drove it till it died. >

At least they didn't have to walk that much farther. >

Actually, they were about a state away when the car died. They had to wait for the guys dad to come and pick em up.
