Hey everyone I"m getting custm box made here very soon but i'm wondering how carbon fiber sticks to the wood casing? The guy doing it said he could carpet it but I'd rather have it wrapped in carbon fiber. Thell me what you think... Thanks

why dont you just have the box made in carbon fiber..???? or do you mean a carbon fiber looking vinyl to cover it...

to make the whole box CF would cost way to much money, I would cover the box with fiberglass smooth that out then wrap the whole thing with a layer of CF.

i wonder what a solid c/f box would sound.
Would the carbon fiber be able to handle the vibration. I worry that it would crack.
there is a company that makes a full CF encloser i think the biggest thing they have is 12 but because its CF its not shaped like your everyday box its a big CF globe very cool and its specially engineered.
