What would cause boost to drop on a turbo from 14 down to 12 psi? Could the turbo just need a rebuild its got 100k miles on it.
Turbo boost Q - 6G Celicas Forums
it drops when it gets hot.
Its normal for turbos to lower their pressure higher in the RPM range, they just cant sustain that amount of boost.
Its normal, and unless u get a better turbo, its always going to happen.
And it wont drop like that when its hot. When your pulling in hotter air it simply wont go so high.

nono, garret and turbonetics (I think) also make T25 turbos, neither of those will fall apart.
