Is it a high rev engine or something?
3S-GE - 6G Celicas Forums
Yes it is.
You have a fantastic engine.
Everyone on this forum who owns those celicas with crappy engines would love this one.

I thought the 4a-ge was a high rev engine. The 20v at least.

All G head are high rev engines.

yep the 3sge is an awsome NA engine... doesn't go quite as high as the 20V, but it's still up there.

There is no need to. charlie.
Hp and torque is there.
I think that the 4age 20v comes with 236 or 244 cams while the 3SGE have low cam profile.
4AGE 20v Black Top rpm Hp=7800 Tq=5600
Also, the lastest 3SGE revs fair high. rmp HP=7000 Tq=6000
Back as I said before No0bOne, you have a wonderful engine.
Do some research on it and so what we are talking about.

Oh, I thought the 3s-ge was just a non-turbo'd 3sgte... which I didn't think was a high-revving engine, as far as high-revving engines go anyways...
What's the black top's redline?
--Mage+Feb 21, 2003 - 7:12 PM
No not at all.
The 3SGTE is almost the same as the 3SGE, but as you might already know, the T need a little more stuff, not much for be stronger and reliable.
But you can take a 3SGE, prepare it and have a 3SGE. This is what is done around the world.
