Hey, just wondering if there's anyone from Australia on 6gc.net? I've seen a lot of 6th gens (mostly stock and dirven by middle aged people but =P), but i have seen some (very few) modded 6th gens. do we have any aussies on the site? (i'll start leaving referals on windscreens when i see them >> )

Yep there are a few of us. Not all that many post regularly though maybe 3 or 4.

What are your plans for you car Shad? It's looking nice and clean.

thanks, it needs a new paintjob but.. =( i want one like coomers >> (got a thing for yellow) im still in year 11 (umm i dont know what that is in us schooling terms, im 15, almost 16 but so gives you an idea) so the moneys still an issue... after exams im buyings some lowering springs but, and then yeah.. not quite sure. any ideas?

I'm an Aussie Boy.....one of those that don't post very often, always on here thou!! I know exactly what you mean about the middle aged drivers hey, it's the same in Brisbane, I don't see very many modded 6th Gens around here either thou.

What is the Car scene like in WA??

In Brissie it is getting bigger and bigger. every where you look there are modified cars. its awsome!!

Yeah but there aren't many (if any) people with 6gens over there who don't post here.

Shadow what do you want to focus on? Looks, performace, blend of the two? I'd say get some wheels, an exhaust system, or maybe some audio gear first up.

Hey Aussies,

Your pretty lucky to be driving such a nice car at such a young age. You'll have heaps of fun in it for sure. I've had my car for about 6 years or so and I'm pretty much calling it an end for my Celica, I've pretty much decided to trade up and go for a Type R.

Everytime I drive my car though I have second thoughts on buying a new car... all because I have spent so much time and money modding it... its hard to let go.

Yeah, dad says he's gonna give it to me if I do well in TEE so its a good incentive to do well >> I've got some big plans for it too so I'm sure i'll have plenty of fun.

Yep im from the Gold Coast, and have only had my car for like 2 weeks, but it will be far from stock soon >>

Its white now, im 17, so if u see a young guy driving a white celica come and say hi, it maybe me, or some guy that thinks your crazy >>

Good to see some Aussies here, I am in Wa to, drive a Black 97 SX. Its still realtively stock but I am working on it. If you are interested, I and quite a few other aussie celica owners are at Ozcelica.com. Good place for us to plan cruises and stuff. Quite a few Wa guys and girls there to >>
