Machined flywheel & new clutch - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #13117 7 posts Started by KAMiX
I got my flywheel machined, lightened & balanced while my car is in the shop... $100 AUD. You can see all the material taken off the reverse side of it, that is 6.65kgs written on it. They made sure not to lose any strength in it at all.

Will put it back in the car in the next few days. Also will get my header back on monday or tuesday once they've finished coating it.

Was actually a lucky break because my clutch shop ****ed up my order for a fidanza flywheel so they pointed me in the direction of this cool little race workshop & now I'm gonna get them to do some more work on the car in the next few weeks... head p&p and maybe an internal workout.

Cheers guys I am pretty happy with it. Yeah magic the clutch was made in my home town of Adelaide and their web site is http://www.xtremeclutch.com.au/ I already had another one of those pressure plates on my car for the last 10,000kms, but I was getting major slippage on a stock organic disc.

Hopefully this setup will live up to my harsh driving >biggrin.gif>
what did the P&P cost you?
