i have a 1995 gt with cat back on it what would it run in the 1/4
what does a stock gt run in the 1/4 - 6G Celicas Forums
Probably in the 16's maybe low if its a good driver and a 5 speed.
Good luck finding low 16's. A 6th gen is susposed to be there but all I ever hear from people who have actualy raced is 17.0-high 16's for a stock celi. That is for a 5 speed too. I ran my fastest this year after my tranny swap. 16.4... I think but thats with all the **** I have and a new ACT clutch. I know the celi can hit 15's n/a but you have to be highly modded.

My celica ran a 16.3 stock with only a k&n box drop in filter...i wanna take it back this spring now that i have an exhaust and an intake i plan on gettin in the high 15's my goal with my car is to run in the mid 14's but thats a long shot...hey man go for it and good luck the quarter mile is a fun track to run...not as fun as auto cross but still an adrenalen rush! >

few weeks ago i ran a 16.54 i have a GT with no engine mods, and its an automatic
i think it matters on the driver
Well, I have an Auto ST with intake and exhaust, so I guess mine would run about the same. Does that sound good to you more knwing guys out there?
my stock GT celica rna 1/4 time of 16.50
Manual Celica GT - QuarterMile = 16.4
Automatic Celica GT - QuarterMile = 16.8
Manual Celica ST - QuarterMile = 16.9
Automatic Celica ST - QuarterMile = 17.2

I have a 95 gt 5 speed and i ran a 16.1 with Injen Intake and 16'' wheels. that was about a year ago so its probably running alot slower now.

whether the driver can properly launch the auto. small difference, but enough to shave time off.

took the words right outta my mouth........no matter what type of transmission you have...it's still up to you to react to the start tree...thats why i never believe any type of generalization on car times....like i said.....it depends on the driver
Driver's Weight? hahaha
